Composition

Mike is able to provide a wide range of musical styles of original composition for the media industry. This includes web broadcasts, music for TV and film, music for education as well as one-off commissions.

Teaching

Mike is a proficient Mac user primarily running Protools, Logic Studio as well as other key third party Music Production software and offers one on one and group studio training sessions at his Sussex based studio. He also offers private tuition for music theory and in the more specialist field of Music Technology A level and BTEC courses.

Consultancy

With the growing number of students opting to take Music Technology on to A level, Mike offers consultancy services for schools and colleges and can deliver specific on-site guidelines on how the course can be best delivered. As a music tech specialist, a teacher of the subject and having examined and been part of the development of the new Music Technology EDEXCEL A Level specification, this has proved rewarding for a number of centres in the past.

Performing

The majority of his performing is with The bb Collective which is a 6-8 piece Soul, Motown and Funk function band.  Please see the Links page for further details.
